Wanted to start a blog so anyone thinking about getting chickens and have been scared to start because they have heard so many bad rumors will see how fun it really is! I'm here to tell you that after having chickens for six years now that they can be a JOY to have around and they do NOT stink like I was told, if they are properly taken care of. I have also Included a detailed Post on how to make your own cheap brooder for 25 chicks for up to six weeks (pictures included.)

Miss nosey.
Just look at miss (I think) nosy pants checking out the ducklings. I think she's upset that they stole half of her huge home. Lol she can see them if she stretches way up. She's so cute.
