From Hatch to Brooder to OMG they have to go OUT?

Wanted to start a blog so anyone thinking about getting chickens and have been scared to start because they have heard so many bad rumors will see how fun it really is! I'm here to tell you that after having chickens for six years now that they can be a JOY to have around and they do NOT stink like I was told, if they are properly taken care of. I have also Included a detailed Post on how to make your own cheap brooder for 25 chicks for up to six weeks (pictures included.)

Our ducks are laying!

They started on Oct 6th. Today we got a shell less one which is common for new layers. The back one is shell less. We fried it and fed to the chickens.
